Nice Carnival

The top Carnival in France, the Nice Carnival takes place in Place Masséna and the Albert I garden, close to the Hôtel Suisse.

The 2025 theme will be The King of the Oceans !

Thursday, February 13 – Arrival of His Carnival Majesties Place Masséna
Friday, February 14 – Veglione at the Nice Opera
Saturday, February 15  – LA CARNAVALINA!, a big day of free entertainment, strolling and happenings in the city.

Morning: opening of the Village Carnaval
Afternoon: festive gathering of flowers and carnival madness
Opening night – Illuminated Corso

Tuesday, February 18 – Illuminated Corso
Wednesday, February 19 – Battle of the Flowers
Friday, February 21 – Queernaval
Saturday, February 22 – Battle of the Flowers & Illuminated Corso
Sunday, February 23 – Carnival corso (afternoon)
Tuesday, February 25 – Illuminated corso
Wednesday, February 26 – Battle of the flowers
Saturday, March 1 – Battle of the flowers and final illuminated corso
Incineration of the King and fireworks (or drone show).
